God’s Weaponry Series, Part 12: The Name of Jesus (cont.)

We have to know the authority that is behind the name of Jesus. Because when we know about it, we are going to use it. The more we use it properly, the more territory we gain. That’s why Jesus said, “Go ye in my name and make disciples of all men.” We are the ones that go forth. Peter and John were going to the temple to pray. When a man was healed in the name of Jesus, four thousand people were added to the church. Peter and John were cast into prison, and were told not to preach or teach in Jesus’ name. They refused, because they chose to obey God. God, the Creator, does not want us to have any other gods. We have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and translated into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love. Listen to this service and message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy of Lion of Judah Worship Center on November 1, 2015, based on God’s word in 2 Corinthians 10:4.

God’s Weaponry Series, Part 11: The Name of Jesus

Jesus’ name is our power of attorney. He has given us authority to use his name in prayer and conquest. Be careful not to water-down God’s word by adding addendum such as “if it be your will” to prayers. God has made his will clear in his word. Listen to this service and message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy of Lion of Judah Worship Center on October 25, 2015, based on God’s word in 2 Corinthians 10:4.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” 2 Cor. 10:4 (NKJV)

“And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.” Gospel of Luke 1:31 (NKJV)

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” Gospel of John 16:23–24 (NKJV)

God’s Weaponry Series, Part 10: The Armor of God (cont.)

ABOVE ALL…lift up the Shield of Faith! The value of faith is not in the person using it, it’s in the one whom the faith is based on. Listen to this service and message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy of Lion of Judah Worship Center on October 18, 2015, based on God’s word in 2 Corinthians 10:4 and Ephesians 6:10–18.

10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:10–18 (NKJV)

God’s Weaponry Series, Part 9: The Armor of God (cont.)

God’s armor protects us from evil and the evil one. The imagery of the armor is based on the that worn by the Roman soldiers of that time. Successful soldiers practice. We must practice using the weapons given to us by God for the spiritual battle we face. Listen to this message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy of Lion of Judah Worship Center on October 11, 2015, based on God’s word in 2 Corinthians 10:4 and Ephesians 6:10–18.

God’s Weaponry Series, Part 7: The Word (cont.)

In order for God’s word to work, we need God’s faith in our hearts and our mouths. Listen to this message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy of Lion of Judah Worship Center on September 27, 2015, based on God’s word in 2 Corinthians 10:4 and Mark 11:23.

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Cor. 10:4 (NIV)
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” 2 Cor. 10:4(NKJV)

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23 (NKJV)
