Abraham Wavered Not at the Promises of God

Abraham Wavered Not at the Promises of God

In today’s Message we turn our attention to the patriarch, Abraham, and the description we find written of him in the New Testament. This brings his actions from an historical overview, into the realm of faith.

The word waver means fluid, liquid, movement. Definitely opposed to steadfast faith as spoken of by Peter in I Peter 5:9. God has given us steadfast minds that can produce steadfast faith. Whereas the term wavering has its twin in James 1:6, wavering means we will not be participants of the great and precious promises of God Almighty. It is not that he is stingy, but Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please Him.

We are the seed of Abraham because he believed God. We have the voice of God recorded for us in this book we call the Bible, we have His Spirit residing on the inside of us, hovering over the Word to enable it to reproduce, but it has to have the fuel of faith in order to lift off.

Let that scripture be our meditation, “Abraham believed God.” Now he could not read of the Red Sea experience, the manna from heaven, the clothing and shoes of his descendants lasting for forty years as they walked. Yet he believed God, considering the One who spoke the Word able to bring it into manifestation! Church of the living God, let us cast aside every weight, and dive into faith to receive the manifestations of those magnificent promises in The Book.

As we listen, turn off every distraction, and listen to the Message, not use it as background noise. Then we will hear the Voice speaking directly to us.

“Abraham wavered not at the promise of God through unbelief”!

Key Scriptures
Romans 4:20 NKJV

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Faith Confession:

We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.
