Why is it important that we change the default setting of our minds? What is the default setting of our mind? It is the thought operation system that supplies the energy for our lives. Our minds are very important. We could say that our minds are the grid that supplies automatic thought energy. Those things we find that we do automatically emanate from the thought grid, because they are defaults. What we give our energy and attention to will develop in our lives. It will direct our pathway. Where we go, our mind follows. In 2 Corinthians 10:4, we are told to pull down strongholds. What are strongholds? They are fortified places erected in our minds. What are some of those fortified places that the enemy of our souls uses to take advantage of us? Things like memories and idols of our heart. This message shows how the defaults are set in place and what we must do to pull down such strongholds. Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.
Romans 12:2 NKJV
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 NKJV
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Hebrews 12:14–17 NKJV
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.
Special Healing Prayer: Lion of Judah Worship Center includes time for Holy Spirit directed healing prayer. The entire service has been separated into three parts. We encourage you to enjoy all three, as a three-course meal!
Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe:
We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and his anointing.”
